Transportation Registration for the 2023/2024 school year is NOW OPEN for new GHSD students
Please be aware that Golden Hills School Division has eliminated transportation fees. There will be NO charge to transport your child.
Parent Note:
Alberta Education funds door to door bus service for students that attend their designated school. Parents may choose to send their child to any school that they wish (school of choice) but it is a parent responsibility to provide transportation.
Within Golden Hills School Division, it is possible for students attending a School of Choice to meet a bus at an existing stop providing there is capacity on the bus.
If your child will be attending a School of Choice and will be meeting the school bus at an existing stop, please complete the online registration form. You will also need to download and complete a Rural School of Choice Request Form. Please scan and email the form to transportation@ghsd75.ca.
If your child will be requiring transportation from a Caregiver, please download and complete the Transportation to Caregiver Form. Please scan and email the form to transportation@ghsd75.ca. Please be aware that bus transportation from a Caregiver is provided ONLY if there is capacity on the bus.
The deadline for Registration for registered/existing GHSD students for the 2023/2024 school year is June 30, 2023.
If you are new to Golden Hills and registering after August 15, 2023, please allow up for five business days to process your transportation request.
