Desiree Schmidt from Tochu Valley School has been selected to join the 2023/2024 Minister's Youth Council. 

Each school year, the Minister’s Youth Council is formed with 40 junior and senior high students
with diverse interests, identities, backgrounds, and perspectives from all regions of Alberta.

Golden Hills School Division Board of Trustees would like to congratulate Desiree on her
appointment as a member of the 2023/2024 Minister’s Youth Council, and they wish her the best in her 10-month term.
